IPSS provides recognised academic education and professional training in conflict analysis, prevention, management and resolution. It is the pivotal Ethiopian academic institution in the field of peace and security mandated to function as a centre of excellence as per the Government of Ethiopia’s Higher Education Strategy. IPSS produces skilled professionals in conflict prevention, management and resolution, peace- building and promotes the values of a democratic and peaceful society. Currently, IPSS offers five academic programmes:
